PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT

  • Parents are expected to support the coach and refrain from excessive "Monday Morning Quarterbacking" from the stands.
  • Parents are encouraged to help teach the value of committment, sportsmanship and teamwork to young athletes.
  • Parents are expected to lead by example on and off playing field.
  • Parent are expected to read the concussions information sheet and abide by doctor's decision in regards to all health matters.
  • Any conduct of spectators which shall be deemed unsportsmanlike or detrimental to players, the game, or league, may subject the offending team to penalty after a warning by the referee to the coach of such misconduct.
  • YFA's zero tolerance policy will be enforced with unruly spectators being removed from the park and face possible criminal prosecution.
  • The use of profanity, drugs, alcohol or tobacco as well as fire arm possession during any YFA event is prohibited.
  • Any parent who enters the playing field during a game risks their child being disqualified from further participation.
  • Any parent who incurs an unsportsmanlike behavior penalty risks their child being disqualified from further participation.
  • Parent tunnels and /or other celebrations are prohibited on the field of play. Parent tunnels are allowed outside the field of play.
